Serena’s just turning into a bigger bitch with every episode (and i used to love her). Blair is her best friend since kindergarten ffs... But her scheme totally blew up in her face! Seriously, girl. Get your head out of your cleavage. I loved Blair telling off Serena. Loved it absolutely. One of the best things about this episode. And one of my favorite Blair moments. I love Happy!Blair. Why can’t people just let her be.

I think we all can confirm that Chuck was at his absolute worst in this episode. If this was any other show, I would firmly believe that they are deliberately writing him in this sick way and referring him as the ‘beast’ and everything (and this can’t possibly lead up to The Beauty and the Beast, can it.) But I don’t know what to believe.

‘Once upon a time in the land of the east, a beautiful girl fled from the beast.’ Call me too optimistic, but I think Blair is finally getting over Chuck. I think Chair might just be getting over…closure. That entire scene was too cruel to depict anything else other than totally disgracing Chuck, more so than he already was. How can anyone not be disgusted by this scene?

I thought this episode had very fairytale-like undertones. With Gossip Girl’s rhyming and everything. And the entire Blouis’s we’re-so-effin’-happily-in-love-even-though-we-hardly-know-each-other! thing. With the background score. In a way, with the direction. With nothing being too angsty except of course that disastrous rapey scene.

I kinda burst into tears during that Chuck/Blair scene. The emotion and rawness really drew me in, as it always does. That little smile that crept onto his face, the hope he had. But Chuck’s view on love is so distorted and fucked up. Chuck losing his shit is fucked up. Chuck throwing himself at Blair is fucked up. Chuck smashing his hand against glass is fucked up. Chuck is fucked up.
